- After rings and rnd 1 of Waldo's Puzzle (join all rings in 3rd dc from ch3), start working Victorian Lattice Square. Begin with a modified row 6: Sc in next sc, ch 1, dc in next 3 sts, [2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc] in corner space, \*dc in next 4 sts, [ch 4, sc in ch 3 sp] 2 times, ch 4, skip next 1 dc, dc in next 4 sts, [2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc] in corner space\*, repeat \* to \* 2 times, dc in next 4 sts, [ch 4, sc in ch 3 sp] twice, ch 4, join with sl st in top of first dc (sc + ch 1) Continue with rows 7-9 of Victorian Lattice Square. Final row (9) of all squares finished with 5 sc in corners instead of 2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc.

Mattress stitch seaming, looks nice so far. 4-6 squares at a time should be manageable for not overheating while working.

Squares finished yesterday, with 2 skeins and a bit remaining. I've started seaming, but will probably put off the bulk of it until fall when it's comfortable to be covered in thick wool again.
Planning on doing some kind of simple edging, starting with silver, then more Solstice Heather, then gold.

Making 32 ring squares and 31 plain squares. The ring squares definitely benefit from some blocking!
3 ring squares and 5 plain squares complete as of right now.
